Pedophilia is Epidemic in American Culture today and Catholic Church has Led the Way

As I read the article quoted below, it jumps blatant and straight in my face. There is an epidemic of pedophilia in this country right now, with many perps accellerating into murder after the rape of a child.

Maybe the bishops, the parish priests, and the parents did not know that the priests were pedophiles and raping children, but the kids knew about it. So any child with an inkling to be a pedophile as an adult had that wonderful role model in his neighborhood Catholic church.

Budding pedophiles watched Catholic priests get away with their crimes for decades and now they are are adult pedophiles, strangely inspired and empowered, carrying out the same crimes they saw the priests get away with it, with their own added touches, as adults.

This about the Trenton New Jersey case, where the 15 year old let them have her little sister and the 7 year old ended up gang raped...

"Trenton officials said that the 15-year-old is accused of first having sex for money herself, then accepting cash to let men touch the 7-year-old. That touching then led to rape by multiple men, according to the investigation, which is continuing, officials said.

"At a news conference at the city’s police headquarters on Saturday evening, Mayor Douglas H. Palmer of Trenton said: 'Good people came forward to try and get justice for this 7-year-old angel, who was brutally gang-raped by pedophile animals.'"

And consier the case of Melissa Huckabee, who murdered the child Sandra Cantu while raping her, in her basement of the church where her grandfather was preacher. That murder took place the weekend at the end March 2009, which was also the end of the trial in Fresno Superior Court, where three bishops including Roger Mahony got on the stand and lied under oath for all the world to see.

They commited the Catholic hierarchy's own special form of perjury, where not only do you just say, "I don't recall I don't remember" to every question," which is already questionable, and the answer most criminals give when they get caught, and are asked about a horrific event that would stay in the mind of any other human being.

But on top of normal corruption, these bishops practice "mental reservation," which is Roman Catholic Church policy for priests, et al, where it is not only okay to lie, even under oath, it is mandatory, if by telling the truth, you will do harm to the church.

Melissa Huckabee, of Tracy, CA, just outside Fresno, probably saw the news, like everyone else in California, where all three Catholic bishops testified that they didn't know anything about the thousands of kids were getting raped in their parishes by dozens of priests.

And Melissa Huckabee became empowered, triggered, and that weekend she took little Sandra Cantu into her grandfather's church and in the process of raping her, killed her.

The Catholic Church has to take responsibility for more than just, only, the small crime of allowing tens of thousands of children to be raped by its priests.

The Church is also responsible for this ancillary effect, the ... epidemic of violent pedophilia we are living with in this country today.

This story is in progress, I don't even know what to call this, an epidemic, surge, eruption? Look at all the kids who are getting raped, brutalized, murdered, and then dumped in fields. This is not something that arises out of a thriving godly culture.

We would not have children being raped and murdered in record numbers right now in the United States if the Catholic Church had gotten rid of its pedophiles as soon as it found them.

I'd like to say, the Church has to face up to its responsibility, but I already knon they won't.

These crimes are happening in a culture where the Catholic Church has been a dominating force in formation of public morality.

This epidemic of child rape and murder is a legacy of the Roman Catholic Church.
