“It takes one to know one;” said my source, then emailed City of Angels an internal Jesuit document, the “Minutes of the Chicago Province Consultors’ Meeting on June 12-14, 2007,” showing recently accused Rev. Larry Reuter was on the committee that reviewed sex abuse offenses among the Jesuits in Chicago. In the news last night, a second victim came forward accusing the former Principal of Loyola Academy Rev. Reuter as reported by WGN watch video here:
The document scanned below shows Larry Reuter helped decide the fate of another Jesuit accused of child sex abuse, Daniel McGuire, who is currently serving time in an Illinois prison. Although Reuter confessed to Jesuit superiors in 1990 that he was involved in an ‘inappropriate’ sexual relationship with an 18-year-old male student when he served as the president of Loyola Academy in Wilmette, Illinois, as widely reported last few days
