... Not Just L.A., The City of Angels Is Everywhere...

I was age five when the bishop stood over me and said, "Stop babbling about what the priest did to you." Then, forty years later... I started babbling.

Papal crimes ignored, while his apology to clergy abuse victims still gets press

.
Still posting comments on my breaks at work:

The Pope apology to victims is empty words as he ran the office that covered up pedophile priest crimes before he became Pope. As a journalist and one of the hundred thousand victims in the USA, I've written city of angels blog: http://cityofangels8.blogspot.com/ for four years, and I know firsthand that the Catholic Church does all it can to prevent the extent of these crimes from reaching mainstream media.

The bishops are controlling the release of information in numerous ways.

With Courts ordering release of documents by archdioceses, we now know there were 10,969 pedophile priests identified so far in the USA and still counting, 10 percent of Catholic priests were predators on children, 20-200 times higher than the general population. Those numbers are per bishop accountability. You will read the truth about the pedophile epidemic in the Catholic Church in blogs, not in corpoate media.

Another one then gotta get back to my job:

When will federal law enforcement step in?
The Church has lied continuously that it has changed its policy while it continues to cover up these crimes. I'm one of a hundred thousand victims of pedophile priests in the US today and also a journalist so have been writing about this crime spree at http://cityofangels8.blogspot.com for four years.
I know firsthand the Catholic Church is doing all it can to keep the extent of these crimes from reaching mainstream media. These new lawsuits with new charges prove the bishops have changed nothing at the hierarchy level, where these crimes were aided and abetted. We need a federal investigation and prosecution.
