The Vatican claims ignorance of peophiles in the priesthood until recent years, yet Pope John the 23rd gave a special commendation to Servants of the Paraclete in the 1959 document scanned here: “Our pastoral heart was greatly consoled when we learned of your very commendable apostolate among the Lord’s own anointed, who, while bearing the ‘heat of the day and burden’ (Matt. XX. 12) have fallen prey to the insidious snares of evil that beset the path of priests." The Papal decree is the fourth entry in today's edition of PippiLeaks, which stands for Papal Insider Pedophile Priest Information Leaks, at City of Angels Blog.
The Pope continues in the 1959 proclamation: “Indeed, the words of the beloved apostle to Caius* echo in a particular manner or sentiments towards your Congregation.” [Caius is said to have been a “hospitable” follower of Christ in Corinth who interacted with the Apostle John, the Congregation referred to is Servants of the Paraclete, religious order that took in, treated, then put in pastoral positions, priests with “Psycho-Sexual Problems.”]
The Pope goes on: "These men are not ‘strangers’ in the strict sense of the latin [sic] term “peregrine”, [sic] rather they are brother pilgrims on the road of life…. If they now have been wounded in the fray, it is our duty to help them, for they are our brothers, our sick brothers.”
{CofA: You never hear mention of concern for victims of the sick brethren.]
Pope John XXIII continues in this doc:
“Thanks to the Omnipotent Mercy of God ‘this sickness is not unto death.’ The Lord “will ‘go after that which is lost until he find it’ {Luke XV : 4]. If indeed, He will do so for even one of the hundred sheep, how much more will He seek out the shepherd himself should he stray….”
The PippiLeaks project at City of Angels Blog is dedicated to dissemination of as much information as possible about the pedophile epidemic in the Catholic Church through scanning and posting documents online, free for all readers and researchers to use as they wish.
More quotes from Pope John XXIII:
He compares Fitzgerald's work to “Peter, who was moved to tears by his Master’s loving, unaccusing [sic] gaze.”
Jesus addressed Judas “by the sweet and intimate term of ‘friend’”
For the strayed sheep, “fatigue of a long and sore footed journey back to the fold….”
Bringing the errant sheep back to the fold is like what Fitzgerald "accomplishes, beloved son, through the faithful apostolate of such priests as members of the Congregation of the Servants of the Paraclete, specially devoted as instruments of Divine Mercy to the care of these souls.”
{CofA: Care for pedophile priests and other rapist priests, some who were accused of murder but never prosecuted, with no concern for their victims, yeah just what Jesus would do....]
Pope John XXIII to Servants of the Paraclete founder Gerald Fitzgerald, continued:
“Through your charity and zeal the shattered fragments of clay are pieced together again...”
[CofA: And turned out into the community to perpetrate again]
Pope: “to carry Christ’s name before the Gentiles. Through your zeal the shattered fragments of clay are pieced together again."
The Pope then praises Fitzgerald because his Servants of the Paraclete priests take the importance of Holy Eucharist so seriously, and writes:
“In prayer and the sacerdotal life alone lies the unfailing means of ensuring the protection of the Power of God against all the powers of darkness.”
[CofA: Um, I don't think it worked, Pope.]
John XXIII then writes, “We lovingly impart to all the members of your Congregation and to all the priests under your care, our special Apostolic Benediction.”

NOTE the alliterative allusions in PippiLeaks** and Pippi Longstocking, that's why we ran with the name.
"Pippi Longstocking (Swedish Pippi Långstrump) is a fictional character in a series of children's books by Swedish author Astrid Lindgren," reports WikiPedia:
"Nine-year-old Pippi is unconventional, assertive, and has superhuman strength. She frequently mocks and dupes adults she encounters; however, Pippi usually reserves her worst behavior for the most pompous and condescending of adults. Pippi's anger is reserved for the most extreme cases, such as when a man ill-treats his horse. And like Peter Pan, Pippi does not want to grow up." [Read more at WikiPedia on Pippi Longstocking]

* Pope John XXIII might mean Caius, the Corinthian, but truth be told, Caius was a common name around the First Century in the Middle East so…
** Credit to Oso Pious for being first to come up with his own version of Pipileaks which inspired PippiLeaks.
