TRANSCRIPT: After Guilty Verdict a Plea of Innocence, Is Pedophile Priest Donald McGuire a Fall Guy for the Jesuits?

(A couple readers inform me that Jesuit priest Donald McGuire still maintains his innocence of extensive pedophile crimes., even after his convictions in Wisconsin and Illinois and with current charges in San Francisco, So City of Angels did some digging and came up with the speech McGuire made in 2006 in a Wisconsin court after his conviction. He’s pleading to the Judge that he really is not guilty. In the name of fairness, I copy and pasted the transcript* I got for readers to… digest.)

To me, McGuire claiming innocence in the face of an avalanche of charges shows the core of the problem with Pedophile Catholic Priests. They don’t live in the real world and are clueless as to how it works. In the statement, McGuire seems astounded that the entitled life he lived as a priest is now disrupted, especially since access to young boys seems to be part of that entitlement.

My reader-sources say, the Jesuit McGuire was prosecuted for crimes so many other Jesuit priests have commited, it’s not balanced justice. McGuire is essentially the fall guy. He took all the public flak, while other perps continue to live the Jesuit Life.

The “Society of Jesus” seems particularly adept at letting sex crimes of its priests slip by while the public is focused on pedophile priests somewhere else. The end result is Jesuit priest sex crimes rarely make the news, Jesuit perpetrator names rarely even make it into print. The Jesuits quietly pay out settlements and sustain a veneer of “education, intellectual research and promoting social justice” per Wikipedia
